Lean on your support network

As with almost anything that provides change, weight loss may come with changes to your body that may take time to get used to. It’s a big reason why a good support network is around you to help you continue your quality of life so that you can recover from surgery or adjust to changes.

We always provide our clients with the tools needed to assist in recovery at home, however a good support network can help speed this up.

Some quick things to consider for your support network:

• Who have you got at home to not only help you with your responsibilities but to look after you
• Who outside the home can you lean on for assistance in some areas? Family, friends, your local community club?
• Don’t be shy to make use of helplines, and these are available to you
