Roslyn’s Story

My weight has always been a problem for me. I was teased as a kid and looked down on as an adult.

Well, my journey started when I went to see Gordon with my Mum for her gall bladder, when the look on his face said it all. (you should be here seeing me as I can help you too!) –without saying a word to me.

A few months later after thinking about weight loss surgery I was back at Gordon’s rooms,  this time with my mum for support. Gordon suggested that I get health cover and come back in 11 month’s time and we both decided that the sleeve gastrectomy would be the best thing for me to have.

Well, I did just that and I went from 155.9kg to 100.9kg in 14 months!

My life has changed and that big dark cloud has disappeared from my life and I feel great.

Thanks to Dr Padovan and his team at Emerge surgical, to Sarah, Danny and my Mum and Dad and all the family support I have had because I am back! –and I feel alive for the first time ever!!!!!
